Monday, June 18th: Round 1 (18 holes stroke play)
Tuesday, June 19th: Round 2 (18 holes stroke play). Following the second round, the field will be cut to the low 32 players for match play

Friday, June 22nd: Quarterfinals and Semifinals (Match Play)
Saturday, June 23rd: Championship Match (36 hole match play final)

NOTE: Players may only attempt to qualify once.
PLAYER INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete Tournament Information which includes practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played will be emailed and posted online after entries close.
ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to amateur golfers who have an established current index of 4.4 or below as of the time of registration and are members in good standing of the Northern California Golf Association and/or Southern California Golf Association.
FORMAT: One 18-hole qualifying round will determine the championship qualifiers. 156 players, including exempts, will advance to the championship. If necessary, a playoff will determine the final position(s) at each qualifying site. The championship field will play 36 holes of stroke play at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa. One round will occur on each golf course, Champions and Legends. The top 32 players will advance from stroke play to single elimination Match Play on the Champions Course beginning Wednesday and concluding with the 36-hole final match on Saturday.
Note: Carts are not permitted for the qualifying rounds or the championship proper (except at sites as determined by NCGA & SCGA staff). The NCGA/SCGA will use United States Golf Association guidelines in determining cart exemptions for ADA-approved disabilities.
ENTRY FEE: $150
ENTRY DEADLINE: April 22, 2018
REFUND POLICY: Full Refund less $10.00 processing fee if requested prior to closing date. 50% refund after the closing date and 48 hours prior to the event. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY
By submitting an entry for any NCGA/SCGA administered competitions, the contestant understands that his/her participation is at the sole discretion of the NCGA/SCGA. A contestant may be removed from any competition at the discretion of the NCGA/SCGA staff or Rules and Competitions Committee at any time before or during the competition. Incidents of unbecoming conduct or actions deemed to be detrimental to the image of the NCGA/SCGA or the “Spirit of the Game” are grounds for such removal and suspension from future NCGA/SCGA administered competitions. These include, but are not limited to the following:
- Willful damage of the golf course or golf course property
- Club throwing or unnecessary club tossing
- Offensive or unbecoming language
- Public criticism of golf course or verbal abuse of NCGA/SCGA staff, officials, volunteers, host club staff or other contestants
- Potential endangerment of others
- Conduct deemed unbecoming
- Failure to post scores for handicapping purposes
- Manipulation of scores posted for handicapping purposes
